Audio Edit Studio - Editor Lite App Reviews
Useless
Trims clips to only 100 seconds… Full version wouldn’t be worth it either as the app lacks features. Waste of time.
I got it to help with some editing for YouTube and it just would not work at all. Don’t get free or pro vesion because I have used both and nither worked.
any time the band processor is added to a track there is a horrible glitching/gurgling noise added to the entire track(s). otherwise, a very easy to use audio editing program

so far the best free sound editing app.
Read the Comments. Minimum Viable Product
They really did the bare minimum to offer this as a product. It’s like it’s still in beta testing. Low intuitiveness, and the user experience (UX) lacks big time. Trash.
Bad on so many levels....read more..
1) Undocumeted feature of the lite version is that you have no way to export ... but you do not learn that until it is too late. Thank you for the transparency AES. 2) NO SUPPORT?!! ALL SUPPORT LINKS are links to dead pages. 3) I have this audio file, and no way to listen to it. File size is significant indicating data, but when the file is open, it 'appears' empty.
Better than the others, but not perfect
I successfully edited a 7-second sound clip with this app, something I couldn’t do with two other apps I tried. I did encounter some problems: (1) When you select some audio and click play, it plays the selection over and over again. There’s no way to play it just once, at least not that I could find. (2) It can’t zoom in very far. The maximum is about 1 inch on the screen per 1 second of audio. That’s not enough for fine editing.
Cannot save
What’s the point of creating a free version if you cannot save your work if it is over 100 seconds? Do not dowonload it.
Straight forward
I tried this app after “Audio Edit-Audio Editor Merge 1.” This is so much better than that piece of garbage. The feel reminds me of Finalcut Pro. Find what you want to delete, click, drag, press “delete,” cries tears of joy, repeat. I am working on recording an audiobook and after testing this app on one track, I am sold for the full version. I edited an audio that started out as .m4a and 1.1MB. After cutting a few seconds out of it and leaving it as a 99sec clip I exported as a .mp3 and it came out to be 1.6MB.
better than I thought
At first I did not like it, until I purchased the other version and realized I was not using it properly. So far I don’t see the differences between the free version and the purchased version, but I am sure there must be. If I had known how to use it properly from the start, this version would have been just fine in order to shorten songs as needed. So I am correcting my original review and saying it is a better app than others I have tried.
Only 100 Seconds of Audio
I understand that software developers need to be paid for their work. AND I hate it when they trick you into the “light” version, allow you to spend time editing your file just they way you like it, and then “Oh, sorry! Can’t save!! Only 100 seconds of audio in this free version!!!” Make that clear upfront! While the software seems capable, for me, with my little edit, it was a wasted download and waste of time.
needs a way to affect the pitch of the music.
I believe that this should have a way to affect the pitch of the music/audio that you are editing. I downloaded it with the intention of using it to Nightcore songs, but I found out that there is no way to affect the pitch of the audio.

verry disapointed
